LGB Women represented by L:Bow Room volunteers

The Diva’s Day event was a great success for the women’s community in Wolverhampton, attracting well over 300 people and offering a wide range of information and activities, from health and fitness to beauty, family and children’s services and support for young women.

Volunteers from the L:Bow Room group spent the day promoting the group and lesbian and bisexual women’s visibility. Below are some pictures from the day.

With Diva’s Day, International Women’s Week Launches 5/3/11

Join us to promote lesbian and bisexual women’s visibility at Women of Wolverhampton’s 2011 Diva’s Day this Saturday, 5th March at Blakenhall Community and Healthy Living Centre from 11am to 3pm – L:Bow Room members will be running a stall to promote visibility and provide information about the group and its activities.  We’d love it if you could come along and see us!

It promises to be a fun day as we won’t be on our own :) you can also come and get your face painted, do some yoga or Zumba, arts and crafts, and creative workshops!

It’s free to get in and it’s from 11am-3pm at:
